GCSE Results
The 2025 GCSE results saw:
- 74% achieving grades 9-4 in English and Maths
- 51% achieving grade 5 or higher in English and Maths
- 19% achieving grade 7 or higher in English and Maths
- These results make us the highest achieving non-selective school in Tameside
A Level Results
The 2025 A Level results saw:
- 74% of students achieving at least one A*-B grade at A Level
- The Sixth Form achieving an overall 98% Pass Rate
- Average grade B-
- Average EPQ grade B
Destinations of the Class of 2025:
- 100% of students who planned to go on to Higher Education secured their place at university.
- 50% of students will be attending a Top 25 UK university – 40% of these are Russell Group universities.
- Destinations included: Imperial College London, Durham University, The University of Manchester, Lancaster University, Queen’s Belfast University and The University of York.
- Two students will be reading Medicine.
GCSE Results 2024
The 2024 GCSE results saw:
- 81% achieving grades 9-4 in English and Maths
- 56% achieving grade 5 or higher in English and Maths
- Ebacc entry was 78%
- A progress 8 score of +0.73 – the highest score of any school in Tameside
